EXPERTISE AND VALUES
A LEADING PLAYER IN THE PACKAGING SECTOR
We make sure that your products are kept safe – whatever weight, shape and size and in all storage, loading and transport conditions – with advanced packaging that is designed and tested to ensure resistance and safety, as well as being easy to inspect and UN approved if required.
Our company was established in an industrial area specialising in mechanics (automotive, agriculture, aeronautics and industrial automation). Our proximity to the Brenner motorway was a strategic advantage for us and for our partners’ shipments too, thanks to direct connections with Northern Italy and Europe, and especially Germany. We immediately began designing products that could make the packaging and shipping process easier. Over the next few decades, the company grew exponentially: its turnover increased, it obtained certifications, and introduced innovations in both the company and its products.
1967 – Year of foundation
1975 – First plywood folding crate
Our aim is to become a well-known company that sets the benchmark in Europe for the design and manufacture of wooden and plywood packaging. We strive to improve the quality of packaging design and innovation, improving functionality, reliability and environmental sustainability. It is our ambition to readily tackle the ongoing challenges posed by the global transport of goods through cutting-edge technological solutions.
As a partner and supplier of packaging products and solutions that keep safe the valuable goods they contain, we seek to continuously increase our customers’ competitive advantage.
In order to do this, we have adopted a customer-oriented approach that is time based, through prompt responses, and flexible, through Lean and Just-in-Time Manufacturing and the new management methods that Transition 4.0 offers. We are driven by our core values and knowledge, we invest in continuous training for our people, and we support talent and careers based on merit.
We are constantly making efforts to reduce the environmental impact of our various activities, from the raw materials we source – only PEFC-certified timber – to our infinitely reusable products, as well as the goal of energy self-sufficiency, which we have already achieved thanks to our processing waste and photovoltaic systems.
Our aim is to create a work environment that promotes a sense of belonging, good relationships, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
“We strive to improve the quality of packaging design and innovation, improving functionality, reliability and environmental sustainability”.
IN EMILIA ROMAGNA
Emilia-Romagna is one of Italy’s most important regions in terms of productivity and turnover. This is where, over the last century, globally renowned industrial brands and districts specialising in various sectors (agricultural mechanics, automotive, industrial automation and electronics) have been established. Entire supply chains of small and medium-sized enterprises have since developed widely and extensively, and now form the backbone of our economy.
It is not by chance that Emiliana Imballaggi was set up in the vicinity of such companies, in Fabbrico, in the province of Reggio Emilia: in this way, it can target the many needs of numerous packaging manufacturers. Our headquarters now cover an area of 50,000 square metres of indoor and outdoor space.
TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
A company based in Cittadella, in the province of Padua, joined the group in 2014: Emi-Pack Logistic, specialising in custom packaging for high-tech goods.
Veneto is also a highly industrialised region with advanced know-how in our field: all we had to do was pool our expertise and create a synergy so as to maximise the value gained by the Group.
