This can be seen in the numbers of the ‘Eco-Ethical Membership Certificate‘ that was awarded to us for environmental merits by the Mauro Saviola Group, the world’s leading business unit in the manufacture of chipboard and melamine-faced wood panels, our partner to whom we take all the wood processing waste we produce at Emiliana Imballaggi.
In 2014, Emiliana Imballaggi supplied the Mauro Saviola Group with 897.72 tonnes of wood for recycling. Through this initiative, 1,454 trees were saved C02 emissions into the atmosphere were reduced by 653 tonnes. For our company, this was not only a prestigious recognition but also a duty towards the community.
